purpose of the wiki

i think we should update the purpose of the wiki on this page. it states that the purpose is to present the order in which the books should be read, but in the cases when we are not showing books in a series (jane austen for instance) it doesn't really matter which order they are read. the first jane austen book i read was northanger abbey, and my understanding of the book wasn't compromised by not reading her books in publication order. so....I am thinking we should reconsider how we say this.

i also think we shouldn't give that much detail about the chronicles of narnia as we did. i feel as though this page should be as general as possible, as to not overwhelm whoever is coming to this site. maybe include this in the how to contribute section as an example.

any thoughts??

I actually agree and was thinking about how to change this page.

You point about Austen or someone else like that (i.e. Dickens) is valid.
