What's in a List?
The purpose of this wiki is to have an author's books listed, whether it is simply a complete list of the works by an author like Jane Austen or the correct reading order of a series like Redwall by Brian Jacques. Even if you love to read it can sometimes be confusing to remember which series you are even reading.
This wiki is meant to be a quick reference of this book information.
All the cool detailed information about the books and authors is on the author pages, and links are provided to websites dedicated to specific series and/or authors.
We have added some fun trivia facts and cool links that are related to books, if not specific series.
We have gone one step further for the book lover in everyone. We believe that some stories are meant to be told aloud.
There is a video section on this wiki where some classic stories are read out loud.
So, if you are a reader this is a wiki for you.
If you are just browsing for fun hopefully you will discover some books you have never read. Enjoy!

i think we should update the purpose of the wiki on this page. it states that the purpose is to present the order in which the books should be read, but in the cases when we are not showing books in a series (jane austen for instance) it doesn't really matter which order they are read. the first jane austen book i read was northanger abbey, and my understanding of the book wasn't compromised by not reading her books in publication order. so....I am thinking we should reconsider how we say this.
i also think we shouldn't give that much detail about the chronicles of narnia as we did. i feel as though this page should be as general as possible, as to not overwhelm whoever is coming to this site. maybe include this in the how to contribute section as an example. any thoughts??
Do you find this valuable?
